Latitude 36® Bermudagrass Takes Duke Softball to the Next Level

Latitude 36® Bermudagrass has been a game changer for Duke University softball, suiting the Blue Devils fast style of play. Latitude 36 has some of the best “playability” of any bermuda on the market and is a favorite in the college sports industry. Duke University employs Latitude 36 on numerous athletic fields around campus including football’s Wallace Wade Stadium.

“The Latitude is a very tight grass- balls love to basically skip and roll which for soccer and softball is great. It’s a very fine textured blade of grass that just shows very well on TV,” said Duke’s Director of Athletic Grounds, Ian Christie.
