In 2020, Sod Solutions found a way to cope with the challenges of COVID-19 while focusing on a way to pivot the way we reach the turfgrass industry to remain successful. Many of the company’s major successes came from producing high quality content for the turfgrass industry.
This year, Sod Solutions wants to build more content for producers while keeping them informed on brand development strategies.
Here at Sod Solutions, we find it vitally important to continue to grow and expand relationships with our valued producers. Additionally, we want to write stories and create videos featuring interesting things you’re doing, such as large upcoming turfgrass jobs or updates you think the turfgrass industry will find interesting.
This is why we have created our Producer Update, which will send via email and text every other month. These updates will include stories from the field, case studies, farm and job profiles, Sod Solutions news and marketing updates. Our goal with these updates is to keep in touch and keep you updated on what Sod Solutions is doing to help increase awareness of our shared brands with the ultimate goal of selling more grass.
The Sod Solutions Territory Managers will provide a brief video recap for each Producer Update and each will include three articles relevant to that producer’s region. Sod Solutions is hopeful producers will engage and share these stories, and also provide feedback on this new content resource.
Last fall, Sod Solutions hired Cecilia Brown as the company’s Media and Content Manager to help implement these new content strategies. Brown comes to the company with a diverse background in journalism, media and content creation. Previously the editor of a local community newspaper, she is excited to begin writing these articles and sharing newsworthy information on our producers with industry publications, our customers, other producers and media outlets when applicable.
“I really look forward to engaging with Sod Solutions producers on a regular basis to help formulate these compelling stories that exist in the turfgrass industry,” Brown said. “I believe sending these bi-monthly updates will keep our producers informed while also showcasing some of their best work and employees whenever there is an opportunity.”
