Industry events are returning to “normal” after a year in which everything was shut down or forced to go virtual. The first event to return involving the Sod Solutions team was the Texas ASLA event in April in Galveston. The team found the event to be decently well attended and that was still a time when many were not yet fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Now the Florida event season follows suit and prepares for the first events where EMPIRE® Zoysia will be featured. The Southeast Builders Conference (SEBC) and the Florida Association of Landscape Architects annual conferences both begin in mid-July, and we will get a taste of audiences’ desires to truly “be together” again.

The SEBC brings together home and commercial builders under one roof on July 15th and 16th at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. The event is the largest building industry trade show in the Southeast. Attendees include builders, remodelers, general contractors, developers, architects and other trades professionals. This outlet provides a great outlet for EMPIRE to reach a wide-ranging audience in locations across the state. Sod Solutions will have a sample of EMPIRE for the show and invite any interested producers to join us in the booth.

While this will be Sod Solutions second time attending the SEBC, the Florida ASLA Conference and Expo is a yearly stop for EMPIRE and has been for over a decade. This event takes place at the same time as the SEBC, July 15-17 at the JW Marriott in downtown Tampa. Florida landscape architects and specifiers will be at the event and are a group we look to reach in the early stages of planning to get EMPIRE specified for large landscape projects. Sod Solutions welcomes producers that would like to come and take part in the event within the booth space.
